I am sure that most if not all of you may have noticed that there are a frakkin TON of comic book/comic book style films out or coming out this fine summer. Needless to say I'm in geek HEAVEN!
So anyways this is gonna get Geeky so I'll just cut this now.
( Be warned fair Internet traveler, here be Geeky Monsters! )
And in other news we're moving house! A nice 2 bed in sunny Isleworth, where the 2nd bedroom (a single room) has been Officially christened "The Gav Cave". The place looks lovely and Helen and myself are both looking forward to having a nice new flat!
I'll potentially be back on here on Saturday after seeing The Incredible Hulk in IMAX (well with a Hulk movie it has to be Imax doesn't it?).
Vaya Con Dios!

I'm shit at updating, but at least I'm doing it eh? Thought that counts and all that? OK I'm lame.
Anyways, wedding-ness is approaching within 9 months, This seems to be creeping up on me like nobody's business. I'm looking forward to it and cannot wait to get married, but my god it seems to be getting here quick!
I have to go suit shopping tomorrow, I have helpers to make sure i don't look like a butler or anything, but thats still my worry anyway. I am fairly certain that Helen won't allow that to happen though ;)
Not much to say other that this meme below, but I am gonna try my hardest to keep this updated as I did a fairly good job of writing here for a while and I'd like to start doing it again.
( Anyway MEME time!... )

I know that most of the people who read this journal O' mine (if anyone still does) will know that I am in the process of preparing for the marriage of my good self and my wonderful Helen.
But for those of you that don't know, I'm getting married! To Helen! Next year! In fact this time next year I will hopefully be sober, hopefully not dancing (ties into the sober thing quite heavily this does) and definitely as happy as I have ever been :)
Yes it's gonna be a Halloween wedding for my lovely bride and I, we have a location booked and everything. There has been discussion of "colour themes" per se my outfit and Helen's dress, which I am sure must be killing Helen as I really don't want to know what the dress looks like until the Day, but she's a little.....well, Rubbish at keeping secrets so every time we talk about my clothes for the Doo, I can see she wants to talk about the dress, which is apparently very nice.
In other news i have a new job, which is nice, more money and less shite New Zealand based dog shows to watch. Also it has solved my age old problem of "I wanna just have a look at some comic books but I work in the ass end of nowhere :(". Well now I can head to Forbidden planet on my lunch break have a nose around, visit burger king, and make it back to work with 5 minutes to spare. Downsides? Tourists, every single fucking one of them.
( Small tourist based rant here... )
So I'm getting married! Eh!
Got a new Job! Eh!
Close job proximity to comics! Eh!

So Yeah, I'm doing that updating thing. I need to put important info about me and my life here.
So important stuff, I have decided that "Excuse Me Mr" by No Doubt is my current favorite song (it NEEDS to be in Rock Band. Timo have a word with Harmonix yeah?).
I am currently ranked 81179 out of 2827850 players in the never ending movie quiz on Flixsters facebook thingy with a current all time score of 6460.
I am applying for new jobs so I can hopefully get out of this horrendous cycle of night shifts at my work, I just got a new phone with unlimited access to the internet because there are a few terrifying hours of every day (on buses mostly) where I am internetless and now this situation has been resolved.
Oh and a few weeks back I did some exam invigilating Isleworth and Syon School, I tell ya if I hadn't hated school kids before I certainly would have hated them after that. But I got money for it and a suit, which kinda fits.
I have footage of me fighting a Jedi, I Pwn him naturally, Dark Side for life dawg.
Helen and I have been together 4 years, 2 weeks and 3 days and this morning. She's quite lovely don't you know?
In other news I have been going slowly mad as my main outlet for gaming nerdiness has fucked off to Madrid. No one at work on my shift is anywhere near as game nerdy as me and I feel very sorry for occasionally nerding out at Helen. Honey? I apologize, but I am sure that you and everyone else can see it is clearly and indisputably Timo's fault.
I bid you adieu!

A proper update will follow later today I promise.
But while I'm here:
I'm 25 now and I feel old. I think having lots of people refer to your age and use the word "Century" in the same sentance does that to you. In other news the new job goes well, long and tiring hours, but well none the less.

For those of you who don't know yet, I got sacked on Thursday.
This sucks for a number of reasons none of which are fun or interesting, just let it be known that I am not in the least bit fucking happy about it.
New job ahoy! (hopefully)
And I'll just add one thing. Live spell checker in Firefox 2.0? Fucking godsend!

I haven't much time as I really should be working, but I am alive and the new place looks good.
The important info is that I have been through all my old things left over at my folks house, many fun things were found transformers, clicky label machines, beatles statues, the original blueprint for my List etc etc etc.
But the big Big BIG news discovered in this scavenger hunt is this: The Smash Hits Bum Bag LIVES!!!!! Pictures to follow ;)

I totally shouldn't post anything that I think of when I'm walking back home after a night shift but hey hey I appear to be doing so:
The best song to listen to on a not too crowded morning when walking through a bright summery city: Mr Jones by Counting Crows
The best song to listen to when walking over a bridge: Sympathy For The Devil by The Rolling Stones (this is almost 100% a Interview with the Vampire latent memory thing)
Any other random "Best song to Listen to's?"
( And now a photo of a photo of me with a cushion on my head circa 1993... )

I have over the last few days been trying to find the appropriate words to describe to those who have not witnessed it first hand the conjoining of mine and helen's things. My literary skills though have failed me, but a picture speaks a thousand words and I think this one gets things across nicely :)

Also I have at the time of posting 1/2 an hour left of my 3 year anniversary with Helen. Who I love more than ever. Just so everyone knows :)

I have a bit of confession, I think I've become a bit of Tube nerd. And not the potentially acceptable fan-of-the-80's-music-show kinda way. I like the underground.
Now I aint gonna sitting on platforms going "ooooo that was a nice 95TS stock train that was" I am just flat out bloody fascinated by the size, complexity and quirkiness that you get associated with the Tube.
I can get lost for hours on the Wikipedia London underground page, and I ahve recently discovered the pretty damn good Going Underground Blog (anyone who's ever sat on a District line platform thinking "when the hell is the next Richmond train going to turn up?" will like the entry that is Here).
But I am not completley obsessed with the tube I am currently watching this as often as I can (Not at work as the god damn work pc's don't have Flash). Mo' MuthaFuckin Snakes On Mo' MuthaFuckin Planes!!!!
Laters everybody!

I have many intresting and insightful things to say about myself and the human condition in general. Unfortunatley I find myself at work at 6AM for the 4th day in a row so forget all that insightful rubbish, heres some bullet points:
- Night shifts suck ass - X men 3 doesn't entirely suck ass, but it aint that hot either - V For Vendetta is one of the best adaptations from the written word that i have ever seen in my life. - "Hard Rock Hallelujah" is being released as a single in the UK on 6/6/06. Genius. - I wanna go home and sleep. - They switched editing systems at work without warning anyone who will actually be Using the system making my ass suky night shifts just a little more ass sucky as I now have to learn a new editing system that is annoying. - I really wanna see Superman Returns, I am thinking of organising a little pre Returns Spuerman 1 and 2 fest thing for the day I go and see Returns. Keep the mind fresh for the Ole superman Flicks. - When "Vicarious" off the new Tool album gets in your head, that motherfucker stays in there. It's been in my head for over 2 days now, good thing it's good song! - I need a new display picture. - As soon as I get off night shifts I am finishing a Star trek trailer I started work on a few weeks ago. But i need hosting, preferably free, with at least 100mb of space available. Any suggestions? - Night shifts really suck ass.
An update and other fun things (maybe even a trailer!!!) will follow as soon as I rejoin the land of the living.

So thats one week done of "proper" work (no disrespect to anyone still working at my old workplaces), and Wow that was a lot of tapes labelled! Oh marlena sorry I didn't reply to your comment on my post below this one but I was trying to think of a witty response, you know something along the lines of "yeah haha I'll get them a job as my underlings!!!". Unfortunatley it's kinda difficult to find a job that is lower than Tape Labelling Bitch Monkey, so the joke woulda fallen flat :( Oh and Sorry for not replying to you as well Rachel! I apologise for my tardy replying-ness.
But yeah work is nice I get along with everyone there, there's a couple of hardcore Arsenal fans in the office but that situation got a little better since wednesday night!!! Didn't it stu? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Anyway onto the REAL business. VOTE FOR LORDI IN THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST!!!!!! SO SO SO much better than any song I have ever heard in the Eurovision before, "Hard Rock Hallelujah!" is a deserved winner and as such all you guys and gals should vote for it.
In case thou doubtest me Here is a link to Lordi's Eurovision page with the video on it. BBC One, 8pm, VOTE FOR LORDI!!!!!!!!
